About Our Place Clubhouse

Membership Services Greet Future Members

Membership Services has been in existence for 15 to 20 years. It is a beehive of activities. We have meetings almost every day and log the mail.

 

We give tours of the Clubhouse. We greet members and visitors at the door. Next to us, is the lobby where people congregate. We tell people if they have mail or messages on the blackboard, behind us. We have phones and computers for staff, and members. Carol announces, with her voice almost carrying through the headquarters, “The Morning Meeting!” Jay likes taking about cars, and his war time service.

Everyone dresses well, Gene and Audry fill in for the phones. People race around, doing their jobs. We have a happy crew. Rachel, our boss, works her head off. It's almost impossible to come up for air. A club with more than members. Phones are managed, with a little nudge. A few months ago, I became an official greeter, with assistance from other members. T

he mail has been arriving later. The staff in charge sorts it. Jay and I log it in. Allen is a long time worker on stats. Diane also works on it. It is a full time job. The lobby and walls are full of information. Members are expected to be compliant with the Clubhouse Rules and Regulations.
